Returning to Central Gardens in the evening is truly a feeling of coming home. The fine old trees spread their limbs over children playing, people walking, jogging, watering the grass, raking leaves, or visting with each other. Lamplights spill into the gathering dusk, and it is almost a relief to leave parts of the city behind.
